Lifeskills for ME

What are Enhanced Life Skills?

Enhanced Life skills are functional life skills that are instrumental to a child’s daily life. These are skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, or organisational skills.

It focuses on nurturing a child’s strengths and interests and equip them with skills that are meaningful in their lives, preparing them to be confident and independent individuals.

BENEFITS IN CHILD’S DEVELOPMENT

STRENGTHS-BASED

Using a strengths-based approach, we want to build on your child’s strengths and interests with skills that will be helpful in their life now and future.

PROBLEM-SOLVING

The life skill activities provide opportunities to embed problem-solving skills, communication skills, and concepts that are relevant to children’s daily lives.

INDEPENDENCE

We believe in promoting autonomy and independence in children as early as possible. Life skill activities give children a safe space to explore and learn in a fun and meaningful way.
